Action taken by the economic and social council on the draft resolution recommended by the conference of minister at its first meeting
Abstract
At its first meeting, the Conference of Ministers recommended the adoption by the Economic and Social Council of a draft resolution the text of which is reproduced in part IV of the annual report of the Commission. This draft was put before the Economic and Social Council at its fifty-first session and, on 20 July 1971, the Council adopted resolution 1608 (LI).
