The present report attempts to meet a part of the need for commodity studies by concentrating On the international aspects The first three sections briefly examine the general problem of commodity instability and the principles and practices involved in dealing with the problem. The last two sections turn to the commodity problem in Africa and major policy considerations confronting Africa in connation with international action.
