The main sectors of the Mauritian economy will now be identified and the state of telemetric use in these different sectors will be discussed. The five main sectors of the economy can be regarded as follows: (1) Public sector, (2) Agriculture and Agro industries, (3) Manufacturing, (4) Banking, Insurance and financial services. (5) Services sector
