The eighth meeting of the Executive Committee was called to order on November 13, by H.E, Mr. Olu Sanu, and the Second Vice-Chairman of the seventh meeting of the Executive Committee in the absence of H.E, Tijani Chelli, the current Chairman, who was unable to attend, The Meeting took place in Addis Ababa from 13 to 17 November 1972 under the Chairmanship of H.E. Mr OTu representative of Nigeria on- the Committee, Members of the Committee took note of this presentation and agreed that various matters raised in this document and by the representative of the secretariat would be discussed under the appropriate items of the agenda or at a later stage in the proceedings. Regarding the forth coming meeting of UNDP in Nicosia, the Committee urged the Executive Secretary and the representative of UWDP to make an effort to seek funds to enable ECA participation in the meeting.
