The most important aspect in the preparation of a survey of the national economy is to ensure that it is completely up-to-date a t the time of its publication. This does not mean that its accuracy should be in doubt because estimates of certain key economic statistics may have been necessary but rather that where such estimates are made because of the delays in finalizing statistics, these estimates should be sufficiently reliable so as not to adversely influence the conclusions drawn in the survey.
