Show full item recordThis paper is a synthesis of three case studies undertaken in Kenya, Sierraleone and Swaziland on "Women and the Scientific Professions in Africa". The objective of the paper is to review and assess the level of women’s enrolment in science-based training programs and their involvement in scientific-based occupations. The paper has also attempted to review and assess career opportunities and prospects for women in the sciences.
