The present study is a preliminary Endeavor that will require follow-up in greater detail and in a sustained manner by member countries. Its long-term objective is the implementation of the recommendations of the Lagos Plan of Action in terms of assembling and placing at the disposal of member States reliable data and appropriate tools for promoting and controlling their domestic trade.
