The Sub-regional Intergovernmental Meeting of Experts for the Decade Review of
the Beijing Platform for Action in Southern Africa was organized at the Taj Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka Zambia from 26 to 28 April 2004. The meeting was attended by government Experts from national gender machineries, Ministries of Finance, Economic Planning, Industry and Trade, Foreign Affairs, Health and Agriculture from the following countries: Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of Congo, Lesotho, Malawi, Mozambique, Namibia, Swaziland, United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
